So you would be willing to pay double or even triple the price for some ships then?

For some very important ships like the Enterprises and the Excelsior yes, absolutely. Like I said, I bought the Eaglemoss 11-inch TOS Enterprise yesterday for $75 and have also preordered the 8/9-inch Enterprise-D also for $75 even though I already own them both in their smaller size. But that's just me, feel free to disagree.

I meant the normal run of ships, I myself plan on buying both the D and E in the jumbo form too.

The 2nd Shuttle set is being delivered now in the US. One worrying actor is we don't have a notice that our one shuttle is going to be replaced like the UK release had.

I'm in the US and had a one page insert in the box that said I'd get a corrected Type 15 and it was anticipated in June 2017.

Last night I saw that several people on various boards got the note. Interesting that my friends in town who purchased it, none o us got a notice.

I am just going to callMonday and make sure this applies to my order, and I let my friends know what result I get.

If they do a third shuttle set, I'd really like to see them cover the Galileo 5 from STV.
I don't know if this is the lineup for Shuttle set 3, but they have announced that they are doing the Argo (From Nemesis, The Type 11 Shuttle (from Insurrection), The Travel Pod (from Motion Picture, and Search for Spock), and the Work Bee (most clearly seen in Motion Picture).

Ben has said that he would like to do 4 sets, but 3 is already plained.

For a set 4 (and assuming we sat clear of alien shuttles), this is what I would like to see.
1. The Space Dock Shuttle (seen at the end of Trek III in front the of the crew on the way to the new Enterprise.
2. Enterprise's Inspection Pod (I love that really detailed ship).
3. The Galileo 5 (from Final Frontier), Don't really love this design, but it was a very prominent set piece for the film, and thus should absolutely be included.
4. My vote would be or either Voyager's Type 8 (used in its first couple season, thus it did get a bit of screen time), Defiant's early Type 18 (used in one episode, I think).

But I wouldn't be surprised if they used Admiral Laneway's shuttle (A minor redress), an escape pod from one of the later film's / shows.

This is of course limiting it to Federation / Starfleet shuttles and keeping the Vulcan Warp Sled, and its shuttle on top as a regular episode, which I think what they are planning for later.

Any one else have opinions? Would you rather see a split set with alien designs, or even a set complete of alien designs? Using aliens my top preferences would be:
1. The ugly Ferenfi shuttle (its been used several times in more then one series).
2. Alice from Voyager a shuttle that got a lot of attention on that episode).
3. The Reman Scorpion fighter romNemesis.
4. Enterprise's Silent Enemy shuttle, really liked that one, though it is a bit similar to the Scorpion.
5. Enterprise's Vulcan Shuttle
6. Irina's shuttle from Voyager another ship heavily featured in an episode.
7. Lazarus' shuttle from TOS, hate the episode, but its one o the few actual built or stage sets for TOS.
8. Xindi Insectoid shuttle (had fairly important role in an episode)
9. Vision Stratopod (just think its a very cool design)
10. Kano Darr's shuttle (last three all from Enterprise).

Unfortunately trying to get a alien shuttle from all series, I couldn't really get a solid choice or DS9, the closest I could thing of was Tosk's shuttle, but the design was just a redress o the Vulcan ship from TNG which is slated to be released.

Don't forget the Nenebek or one of its many re-uses. I think the Ferengi shuttle is most likely, given its prolific use, but I suspect that, much like the Romulan shuttle, any of these that get made would be released as a numbered issue, rather than in a mutli-shuttle set.

I would much rather have the shuttles released separate issues instead of putting them in a set. They sets are too expensive and I do not really want all three either.

Heh...I would much rather not have to pay $100 for a pre-order item, only to have them reduce the price by $20 only a week later and not get the discount for the purchase when they actually charge me 3 months later. :brickwall:

The Enterprise-B I ordered just arrived today. If I've counted correctly, that's my 50th ship, not counting the extra "D" that came with a 3-pack.

The contrast between the Excelsior and the "B" models isn't quite as striking as it is between their Micro Machine counterparts (but probably because that Excelsior was quite blue). I'm not 100% sure if both ships are to scale with each other. (For example the "D" are the Nebula are to scale with each other but the Reliant and Saratoga aren't). Not too much detail on the underside, but it does't bug me that much.

I basically have every Enterprise now, except for the refit (but the "A" makes up for that) and the specials, none of which interest me that much. I don't think there's any one ship out yet I feel like I really gotta have at the moment, but we'll see. (Maybe a Grissom...)

I think they are too scale, Enterprise B is slightly larger than Excelsior which if memory serves, that's how it is meant to be. And comparing Enterprises D and E, they're to scale with each other too.

3 meters bigger than the standard Mark 1 Excelsior, yup.

The B is made to a larger scale, the ship is supposed to be just a modified Excelsior, not a completely different build.

Then with the Centaur ( which is supposed to be a much smaller craft). We get a descent size excelsior saucer that makes me really sad that the Excelsior wasn't made in this scale.

I got a letter from eaglemoss today. It was the notice about the replacement shuttle.

It's a nice touch from eaglemoss. I don't know if it's because they realized some didn't get them, or was a result of my calling them to ask.
