I hate moustaches. It makes attractive men look ridiculous. On the other hand.... I'm not fond of bald heads either, but I can't fancy Picard or the Doctor with a shock of hair.

I'm generally not a fan of facial hair on men but sometimes it looks good. How else to describe Lt. Marseilles' moustache, it looks like a small furry animal growing on his upper lip.
I read this fanfiction where the crew went to their 5th anniversary homecoming celebration. In this story the Doctor's original holonovel which was supposed to be pulled from the shelves wasn't pulled fast enough. There were still black market copies of it floating around and it had become a cult classic in the same vein as The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The crew decided to take it in stride and their anniversary party was a Photons Be Free costume party.
Anyway at this party, little Miral was dressed in a furry costume. Janeway asked her if she was supposed to be a tribble. She said she was dressed as Lt. Marseilles' moustache. Only she said it like this, "Lt. Marsilly". The story is called Photons Be Farced by Cheshire Cheese on Fanfiction.net.

Anyway, "Alliances" is also one of my favorite episode and "Parturition" is a funny episodes with a lot of hilarious situations and dialogue.
