Speaking of leaks, it appears that Trump supporters aren't the only people Hillary has a low opinion of...

Bernie himself agrees:

Over the weekend, Republican nominee Donald Trump sought to capitalize on the hacked audio, tweeting that Clinton “is nasty to Sanders’ supporters behind closed doors,” and is “owned by Wall Street and politicians.”

“HRC is not with you,” he added, in a late appeal to Sanders supporters.

Asked Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” whether he agreed with the New York businessman, Sanders, who has endorsed Clinton, said she was “absolutely correct” in her assessment of his supporters.

“I think what she said ― and, by the way, during the campaign, we do have our differences, Secretary Clinton and I do disagree on issues,” he said. “But what she was saying there is absolutely correct. And that is, you’ve got millions of young people, many of whom took out loans in order to go to college, hoping to go out and get decent-paying, good jobs.”

This Clinton audio thing reeks of desperation. Her comments, in context, are both accurate and innocuous. They're even sympathetic to Sanders' supporters, which makes them a pretty terrible smoking gun for how much she supposedly despises them.

No, it's Standard Operating Procedure. Like the climax of a good fireworks show, dramatic revelations are timed into an increasingly intense and compressed schedule as we head toward election day. Because amnesiatic sheep.

Election night is going to be a rough night. I'm prepared to get really drunk.
SC closes at 6 eastern. If it's not called quickly, it will be a good night for Clinton.
GA and VA close at 7. Same as above.
Ohio closes at 7:30. It will probably be a couple of hours before it's called.
Michigan, NH, and Pennsylvania all close at 8pm. If NH is called quickly for Clinton, good night for her. If Pennsylvania gets called for Clinton, all but impossible for Trump to win. Florida also closes at 8pm but... Florida.

By this point we should know who will be President. If Clinton won those 8pm states, along with her safe states - she'd already be at 254. If she somehow manages to win GA (not likely, but not impossible), she'd be at 270 without any other swing states.

No one cares and Bernie mostly agreed with her.

That is the scary thing. Trump is leading the polls isn't he?
No. The RCP average is Clinton +2.5. The LA Times tracking poll is the only poll that has Trump up but they're using some wonky metrics. They've consistently had Trump up when every other poll have constantly had Clinton up (save for a couple of polls early last week).

I think Trump will win but then again I never believed President Obama will exist in my lifetime...go figure

I think any hope Trump has of getting ahead of Clinton is dependent on his performance at the next debate.

I don't believe debates are the best judge of who will make a better President, politics is too important to be based on a beauty and speech contest. But too late now!

I don't think that they're the best judge either. However, a lot of undecided voters may go with whoever is declared the "winner".

Oh, please. There's nothing in those quotes that's disparaging toward the Bernie voters. If anything, not only is she accurate, but she's describing the situation sympathetically, correctly, and saying that her campaign needs to understand why Sanders appealed to so many.

It would be different if she said something like "They're living in their parents' basement.... and they're lazy, they're directionless, and they want to live off government assistance and smoke pot all day...." Something like THAT would be cause for people to get riled up. But this? This is harmless. And Bernie agrees with her.

People need to stop clutching at straws. This is a non-story.

Meanwhile, today Trump called combat vets with PTSD weak. No, he didn't use the word, but he contrasted them with vets who are "strong." This from the man who appears to have been traumatized by a microphone. I'm not a vet, but I do have PTSD, and, yeah, I'm taking this one kind of personally. @#$%^#$%^&

Well, George Patton said the same stuff, and there are people who still lick his boots and kiss his ass to this day. So this won't matter at all to Trump's people.

But for a man who equates sacrifice of a family member to creating jobs as a businessman, and who dodged the draft because of bone spurs in which foot he can't remember, this is typically ignorant.

But isn't the content of what they say that matters, as well as how they act that could sway some voters.
