The Ryan Church concept art was designed at 366 meters. The ILM CG model was designed much larger. Just look at the bridge window, which would take up the entire height of the dome ifthe ship were the same size as the last one.
And as said a million times, the windows in ID match the deck heights. Here are the set blueprints superimposed over the ship.

And here is why 366m doesn't work with the deck spacings established by the plaza set:
Although I don't wanna dispute the size of the ship - lets just go with 725m....
....the top image is creative in it's attempt to portray the truth, for example in how the red line deliberatly gets placed through the flooring on the top image, rather than taken right to the edge of the hull breach, just to make it look like the deck height is the minimum possible, and how it assumes no ceiling overhang with the top red line.

^Your guy's drawn a bit on the big side, if the top of Kirk's head only reaches 3/4 of the way up the corridor wall. Also, it would appear the saucer rim windows have been made taller for Beyond:
Also, here's a very quick comparison of the ST'09/Into Darkness Enterprise and the Beyond version. Looks like they've kept the overall length the same:

Having seen the movie, I couldn't tell what size the ship was meant to be, although I'm sure people will find new evidence in abundance. But one thing I did notice, was that the saucer indeed seemed to have two decks, from what little I could see, with the small appearance of people within the windows being a distortion.
Doesn't mean I can't be wrong, because I barely saw it, and I also does not rule out a large Enterprise, because there could be lots of room between decks, but thought you all might be interested. Who knows, maybe the studio are aiming for a size between 366 and 725 - like 400-something? Would the shuttlebay fit in something that size?

No it wouldn't, that was considered at the start, indeed many believed the ship was maybe 500m - 600m at first but as more footage was shown it became clear even that was just too small.
Then we had the official size details from the designers and that's how we got the 725m we didn't just pick a size at random.
There is lots of room between the decks, some decks may even be double height as well, if the function of the space requires it, would explain the lack of windows in those areas of the saucer edge.
That Popular Mechanics cutaway uses the actual ship CG models. There's no doubt that and the flythroughs of the crashed saucer are based on the same scale and concepts
The Enterprise has at least 31 decks. (I am taking this information from the report by Chekhov as he notified the bridge crew of breaches.)

It's only not huge in a single scene and is consistently scaled throughout every subsequent appearance for three consecutive movies. Star Trek Beyond is, if nothing else, the final nail in the coffin for this entire discussion.
Hi to all fellow Trekkers. Total respect for the forums. I have been reading them since the release of the first reboot film. It's been 7 years now and the size arguement still rages on!!! Amazing!!! For me all ended when the designers said that the ship is 725 meters long releasing comparison images. It cannot get more official than that. But i see the disbelievers are becoming more and more creative to support their arguement. For example the pic posted above depicts Kirk as a giant!!!

However in this pic we can see that Krall lifts Kirk appoximately half a meter from the floor and there is still considerable space between his head and the ceiling!!!

I think one factor for why the deniers are soooo persistent is because they don't want to believe that the Kelvinverse Enterprise is bigger than the prime universe Enterprises
Perhaps of note, I read yesterday that Star Trek Online claims the technology of the Kelvin Timeline's 2260's is equivalent to the early 25th century of the Prime universe.
I always considered the technology roughly equal, and the differences being mostly visual depictions (after all, it's 2016 and not 1966), and of course videogames aren't canon, but it's fascinating nonetheless. There is some evidence to support this, such as the long range torpedoes from Into Darkness having higher yields than DS9's quantum torpedoes, if we compare ID's screen graphics with the DS9 technical manual.
I think it's fair to say Starbase Yorktown eclipses any Federation-built space station ever seen in Trek Prime. It's possible they existed "off screen" in the same way all the those aliens from the classic and new movies should, but I kinda doubt it.
Thoughts?
