I kinda like the previous Enterprise better, mainly due to the nacelles.

Three movies and they still haven't given us what we asked for!
So, just out of interest, here is some design history leading up to the new ship:
The original J.J. Abrams Enterprise was designed by Ryan Church. The 1701-A was designed by Sean Hargreaves. This is his website. Maybe sometime soon he will post some better views of it.

Unfortunately you guys are mistaken. That is the original STB 1701 prior to the "swarm". If you look around online (popular mechanics) they changed the nacelles, struts and neck the for the 1701 just for it's 15 minutes of fame before it meets
its' demise. You can also verify this with the trailers as the "swarm hits" you can make out the different struts and the new neck with larger windows.
This is not the new 1701-A.

So is the image above. I was there, I saw it in the theatres.
Having seen the movie just hours ago, it is you who are mistaken. The grainy low quality pictures and the animated gif on the last two pages are indeed the 1701-A.
Love the new struts shape and nacelles, wish they were red in front, but MUCH better
Most of the GIF's were so poor in quality that I could not make out the "A". But I do see it now.
Nonetheless they did change the destroyed Enterprise from STB compared to STID with the smaller nacelles and neck as I mentioned.
Why they would do this for only 15 minutes and then destroy it is beyond me. Pun intended.
Like the new design- much more balanced- the way is should have looked before JarJar demanded it be "Hot rodded up".

Here is the comparison between the STID 1701 and the STB 1701..........

09/Into Darkness version is much more balanced. The Beyond refit looks stupid. Looks better in that movie though. But that side by side just shows how off balance it is.
The nacelles being too close together was my big complaint about the Abrams Enterprise. Glad to see more space between them.

The NuEnterprise-A looks A LOT like these proposed refits for the NuEnterprise that are floating DeviantArt for years!!!
In the context of the movie it makes sense why they would beef up the pylons. And the saucer edge looks sharper. I just wish the nacelles weren't hanging on the very edge of the pylons
