Spoilers Dark Matter - Season 2

JD

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
The second season of the Syfy Original Series Dark Matter begins this Wednesday, July 1st, at 10/9ct on Syfy.
Season 1 ended with the Raza crew seeming betrayed by Six and now in the custody of the Galactic Authority. The new Season will pick up with the crew members imprisoned at Hyperion 8, Maximum Security Detention Facility Lunar Base.
They've announced two new additions to the cast, the Bourne movies and Run Lola Run's Franka Potente as Command Shaddick, Chief Inspector of the Galactic Authority Serious Crimes Division, and Final Destination 2 and The Vampire Diaries' Shaun Sipos as Devon, "a once world-class surgeon who's now haunted by a dark past that may spell trouble for himself and his fellow crew members (and by that we assume the crew of the good ship Raza)". The new trailer in the link below also shows at least one or two other new characters.
We also have a new trailer.

Dark Matter certainly isn't the best show ever made, but it's entertaining with a fun cast. Sometimes that's all you need. I'm looking forward to season 2.

I agree completely. I thought the show improved as it went along, so if that trend continues the show could start to reach great by the end of this season.

So wait, it's starting tomorrow, Wednesday June 1?

Too bad, I liked their little Friday night block.

According to the SyFy Channel website, it's July 1st - a Friday, and a month away.

Oh, not bad! That exterior shot of the space prison looked very much like something out of a 70's/80's sci/fi movie. very retro in style.

Just wanted to remind everyone the season premiere is tomorrow night.

That's new. The only name we had for her before was Das. I'm surprised they'd spoil her real name so soon. In the lead-up to the series premiere last year, they were adamant about referring to the characters solely by number so that the revelation of their real names at the end of the first episode would be a surprise.

Dark Matter is back! How many strange new malls and warehouses can they visit this season? :D

This kind of shaping up like the last season of Andromeda where the crew gets put off the ship and separated. Hopefully it won't take all season for them to reunite.
