Did anyone order a copy of Berkeley Works? I just got my signed copy in the mail today and it's gorgeous.
This is the first I'm hearing about it, but I just put it in my Shopping Cart.
I think that's going on my Amazon Wishlist.
Yeah, it's a little pricey. I'm already over-budget for this month.
It is but I got it because Berkeley did a special deal with personalized signatures awhile back (he also did an Opus doodle in mine). I got lucky by visiting the page at the right time because the limited copies were quickly snagged up.
On a related note, don't forget to pre-order "The Bill the Cat Story: A Bloom County Epic".
I also read that IDW plans to publish a collection for "Bloom County 2015/2016", but haven't heard a time-table.

Ah, thanks for the reminder on that one. I had forgotten it was coming out.
I've also read about IDW's plans. They're probably waiting until they have a full book's worth of material. I'm curious how they'll do the layout considering Berkeley isn't following the standard 6 "weekdays" and 1 "Sunday" model and the "Sundays" aren't all the same size. Further, many of the "Sundays" are part of the storyline along with the "weekdays." I also hope they include all of the specials, like the David Bowie and Prince tributes, among others.

The collection is titled Bloom County Episode XI: A New Hope. It's due out in September, as far as I know. I wrote on my blog this morning that I'm interviewing Breathed by e-mail about Bloom County and the new collection.
