I don't enjoy the JJ movies, but that write up was ridiculous. It's a small minority of fans who are vocally against 'NuTrek.' When I criticize the films, it's objectively false to say I'm "speaking for the fans." Every person experiences art differently based on their personality, preferences, and life circumstances.
CBS/Paramount sues to stop Axanar

For people on the fence about CBS all-access, would having content from Axanar, Horizon, ST:continues on all-access be something you would pay for? This will likely never happen, but it would be cool if CBS had like a fan creator program. Sorta like the You Tube Red creator program, where youtube helps produce content for its paid service by working with its creators. Not really a Axanar question, but more of a general fan production question. Sadly the lawsuit makes something like this unlikely, but it would be something really cool CBS could do for the fans, and there new service. Work with vetted productions and either produce and help fund, or just take fan stories and give them credit some how. Would be very forward thinking, and a way to produce content for a new service.

There was a while there where some oh-so clever soul had uploaded the Renegades trailer, and had it labelled as the official trailer. Unsurprisingly, the reception (comments and votes) were nearly all negative.
At the time that video appeared first in the Google search for the official trailer, but it looks like it's gone now. Wouldn't be surprised if that's where the 'Paramount took the trailer down because of downvotes!' rumour sprung from.

Well I found it entertaining but perhaps not in the way it was intended. Describing the intentions of CBS as 'nefarious' made me laugh out loud. General meanings of 'nefarious' include sinful, villainous, criminal and wicked. You would only genuinely believe CBS are acting in a nefarious manner if you were nine years old although based on the general tone of the piece that may be true.

Laughable that someone would come here asking people to share that crap simply to boost hits to their tech review blog.
Yet, backhandedly impressive that this BBS is seen as a place of information and relevant dialog for many a topic. People seek it out and Post for a variety of reasons, but there is accuracy and timeliness in many parts of a good number of the Threads, here.
