Posted here due to the fact that "GSchnitzer" has blocked rebuttal in the thread started in order to discuss the relationship between CBS standards and the behavior of professional film makers who continue to comment upon the CBS v. Axanar case:
GSchnitzer writes, "Lastly, of course, leaving the poster's message up "speaks to the openness of the discussion and the willingness to examine aberrant cyber-bullying behavior on this board."

Etc.

Uh, when a mod tells you to stop or locks a thread, that means you don't keep it up elsewhere! Ever. That is a good to be thrown off the BBS permanently.

You emailed me (and didn't allow sufficient time to reply), you're harassing the mod in the thread, and derailing this thread in the process. Not smart. You need to clam up in this thread until you send me what I asked.

To anyone else. I don't care if you hate Peters or want to have his baby, follow the rules of the forum. Don't engage in personal attacks, even if you think someone is an idiot; discuss the court case but try to be civil.

And if the mod tells you to do or not do something. Listen. If you don't like it, go through the usual process. And give people time to answer. And don't reg duals; I tossed *another* one today.

Yes, Ma'am!

I take a weekend off-line and I come back to 20 more pages. Did I miss anything significant? (I saw the AP meltdown.)
The Dave Galanter posts and lack of response from Alec were the newest news, I believe. Dave Galanter is truly a righteous dude.

The judge will probably toss out the motion to dismiss and amicus request. Klingon language issue is pretty much irrelevant but it engenders interesting discussion.

We tried to show the doctor the door. The parental units had to step in and adult. If we said anything bad about other posters, we are sorry and won't do it again.

We and the cat had pie.

I thought he would be a Doe at first and even asked about it here and remember a good reply from him so I looked back at ALL his posts in this thread. Just DAYS after the law suit was filed, he gave his opinion here:

" I am mystified by the attitude that even if CBS/Paramount say "stop this," the Axanar team wants to move forward. I don't get that. When you play in someone else's sandbox, and they turn a blind eye to it because you're not hurting them to do it, that's magnanimous of them. When the IP holder DOES say they have concerns and it's time for you to stop... YOU. STOP."

He has been consistant from the start and looking back at it all in the context of the 1701 interview he has the same opinion now as back then but he's just decided to speak a little louder. I can't think of another Trek person who has been involved in this who as been as vocal.
