I can only imagine the battle would be very favorable to the good guys.
But I'm not a superior intellect.

He would have bluffed that he had Genesis and lured Kirk to Regula, hoping he would lead him to Genesis and the Marcuses.I can only imagine the battle would be very favorable to the good guys.

Thrown a tantrum and warped away to scheme up something equally stupid.
So why didn't he?Khan cared little about Genesis. If he could get Kirk simply by blowing up his ship, he'd no doubt happily go for that.
I thought he got his head turned by the possibilities he could have with such a device.
Agreed. Khan bolstered about his past like a badge of honor, he foresaw his future completely different... until Kirk ruined it. Khan hadn't caught up with Starfleet tech and that was his downfall. I'm sure after dealing with Kirk his next destination would go to Earth and open frequencies to announce that he is Earth's King.So why didn't he?
I thought he got his head turned by the possibilities he could have with such a device. Killing Kirk is one thing, what does he do next with his life and his followers? He'd want nothing less than to reconquer Earth. Genesis was a powerful aide.
I was going to say, piss his pants and run away. But yours works too.
I do have one question: Was Khan's need for revenge so pressing that he and his followers couldn't have gotten showers and changed clothes before rushing off?![]()
Apparently superior genetic super people can't work out how a shower or wardrobe works.
So while the entire movie played out over days, they were standing around in stinking, filthy, sand saturated rags for no reason.
Yeah...
There's definitely something about Genesis he'd appreciate. He's literally genetically engineering an entire planet. The Khan of planets! He'd probably use it on Earth.Agreed. Khan bolstered about his past like a badge of honor, he foresaw his future completely different... until Kirk ruined it. Khan hadn't caught up with Starfleet tech and that was his downfall. Quite, I don't see why they'd really care. Some of them had Starfleet jackets draped around themselves merely as a symbol of conquest.I don't get it. These folks have apparently been in the rags for years. What possible reason would they have to change now?
Timo Saloniemi
Even with the "secret" of the device, he couldn't really hope to duplicate it.
But if he "genesis'ed" Earth, and claimed to have dozens more of the devices, would the rest of the Federation be willing to take the chance he was lying?Even with the "secret" of the device, he couldn't really hope to duplicate it.
