More Parallel Planets?!?!?

Okay. I'm not a big fan of the 'parallel planet' theory, but here goes nothing. During it's 3 year run, we saw different examples of parallel planets, i.e. Ancient Rome, 1920's Chicago, Nazi Germany, etc. If TOS has gone on to a 4th and 5th season, what other parallel planets do you think the producers would have visited?

For ideas, you would need to know what backlot areas the show had access to, though in the third season the budget had been so reduced they could only go outside once.

But assuming they had more money, they probably had access to 40 Acres, which had been owned by Desilu, unless Lucy had already sold it to another studio...

And perhaps some of these current locations on the Paramount lot itself existed then...

In the late '60s and early '70s, based on your opening premise, O.J. was still playing football, and The Simpsons didn't exist yet.

We probably would have gotten Medieval World eventually. And maybe Arabian Nights world?

Beatnik World would have been fun, although I suppose we came close to that with "Way to Eden."

Dinosaur planet?

Spartacus World, though I think the Spartacus sets were at Universal.

And nearly every studio backlot back then had at least one Western Street.

^^ You beat me to it. Andy Griffith had his Mayberry set on the 40 Acre Lot if I'm not mistaken. Kirk meets Deputy Barney Fife?

ST never did visit a communist parallel planet. Maybe the Cold War was just too real for that to be filmed. Check that. I forgot about 'The Omega Glory'.

Anything can happen

BARNEY: Nip it in the bud, Otis. I don't have time for drunken foolishness about "aliens". Now where'd you say you were from stranger?

Oh, the other episode is "Errand of Mercy". The outdoor steps Kirk and Spock run up is the same set where Pike fought the Rigel VII guy.
