Ok the next contest involves seagoing vessels: hovercrafts, sailing ships, submarines, canoes...the list is, well it's not endless but it is fairly large.
Spaceships are allowed, but only insofar as if they look like an ocean going vessel that just happens to be in space (two examples spring to mind, one from classic Who and one from Nu Who) a Dalek saucer is out!
And if you’re not going to show the actual vessel, then characters from the episode must be recognisably on-board. So, for example, a close up of Matt Smith that you say is taken from Cold War is a fail, a shot of Matt Smith very obviously stood on the submarine’s conning tower is acceptable.
Usual AV rules apply 150 by 150 pixels etc. etc. etc…
