The network has given a straight-to-series, 13-episode order to Good Wife creators’ Robert and Michelle King’s one-hour comic-thriller, which is being billed as a cross between The Strain and The West Wing.

BrainDead, which is slated to premiere in Summer 2016, follows a young fresh-faced Hill staffer getting her first job in Washington, D.C. and discovering two things: The government has stopped working, and alien spawn have come to Earth and eaten the brains of a growing number of Congressmen and Hill staffers.

Maybe this is really a documentary? It would explain a lot. :D

A "futuristic espionage thriller" called Incorporated.

Set in a future where companies have seemingly unlimited power, Incorporated centers around Ben Larson, a young executive who risks everything to infiltrate the all-controlling corporate world and save the woman he loves. In the process, he will take on the entire system -- with deadly consequences.

Another future where the corporations have taken over.
(Though one might argue that it's already true here in 2015.)

USA Orders Post-Apocalyptic Pilot ‘Poor Richard’s Almanack’

The high-concept thriller drama, written by executive producer Jim Danger Gray (Orange is the New Black) and consulting producer Miguel Sapochnik (Game of Thrones), weaves between modern day and a possible future where characters have changed radically and revolves around a cadre of heroes who emerge as the new “Founding Fathers,” after America is pushed to the brink of collapse.

Darker and grittier Little Women. :guffaw:

Just when you think it can't get any worse.... :rommie:

^^^
Sounds like they took the world premise from Rollerball (1975); and just replacing the 'Sports legend bucking the system'; with 'Up and Coming Corporate stooge bucking the system'. - Meh.
