Depends on whose quarters you're talking about. I would either run like hell outta there, or wait for a special someone to return.

I'd try to find a way back to my reality. I'm not even a red shirt, I'm an off screen expendable. Though Kirk is fantastic for the greater good, I'd say he probably lost the most personnel out of all of the series. Picard headed the flagship, Sisko fought in wars, and Janeway crossed the galaxy, yet they all did a better job than Kirk. He looses people during pit stops.
If I couldn't get back, I'd rather spend my time in that reality on earth, a colony, or a station.

Since you specified NCC-1701, my favorite ship! I would immediately go to StarFleet Academy, work my way up to Captain and explore the galaxy!

Of course I would be very happy to be transplanted into a post scarcity society with fantastic healthcare, a united Earth and no war. However I would be less happy about being on Kirk's Enterprise instead of Picards. That ship had a horrendous death rate, let alone the horrible interior design!
So I'd explain my situation very calmly and ask to be taken to Earth, or Betazed, preferably Betazed. Realistically they'd probably dump me with a ship headed for Earth, which is perfectly fine.
Then I would figure out what to do with myself in that strange new future. I'm sure they need English teachers on Betazed.
And if not Betazed, then I'd join the settlers of a new colony. I have dreamed about Untouched Country all my life, but there is sadly none left on Earth so you have to look for it on other planets.

Kirk lost 22 of his crew on screen (plus Leslie and Galloway, who were killed but then reappeared later, so do they count?) and plus 13 reported deaths in the 3 years on TOS, for a total of 35.
Picard lost 19 on screen plus the 50 reported killed (e.g. in "Q Who", "Lessons", etc.), for a total of 59. One can quibble he also killed his future self in "Time Squared". Also, all 1000+ crewmembers plus family got blown to bits repeatedly in "Cause and Effect", but that one's debatable.)
They're both deathtraps.
