I know your problem; just the other week I bought a 2TB HDD and now there's only 412 GB available on that drive
^It is! My list also includes the drives I use for media: my entire Star Trek collection is on those drives. (There's nothing quite like being able to watch any episode after just a couple of clicks ).
I have a 2TB media drive with a ton of stuff on it, but it's all MKV compressed. Is yours DVD ISO? Anyway, nice.
Nah, mostly mkv (for important things like Trek) but also a lot of ancient shows in DivX (like the Emma Peel and Tara King Avengers (some of which I only have in a German dubbed version ). And, yes; nice! -recently I bought a small server to use for media (those are three of the drives listed ) Actually one of the nicest things about this is that I could get rid of several big moving-boxes of tapes and home-recorded DVDs and put all of the content into a box smaller than a shoe-box
This English walking cane, because I'm going to be using one for quite a while, and it's fun to have more than one: http://www.fashionablecanes.com/223855.html (Sorry, couldn't copy and paste the picture.)
^That's awesome! I bought a cane last summer, after I screwed up my foot. But it's just a cheap metal drug-store jobbie. And I hardly used it, anyway.
Thanks, Goliath. Metal drug-store jobbies are so depressing. I'm glad you didn't have to use yours very much! I had one -- a workers comp freebie -- when I broke my foot a few years ago, and I hated it. So next time I was at a crafts festival, I bought a gorgeous, handmade wooden cane. So now I have two elegant ones to select from, depending on what I'm wearing. Hmm... I wonder how many canes Holdfast will collect if he ever has the need for them.
Harry Potter tickets. Deathly Hallows Part 2 was awesome! Also stopped by Sephora and picked up one of their pocket-sized make-up sets- six eye shadows, six lipglosses, two blushes, in a folding box the size of a deck of cards. I love stuff like that, so useful!
Ordered the PlayStation Move Starter Pack (Motion-Controller, Eye-Camera, Multidemo-Disc) this morning. Very happy about it; looking forward to playing some Dead Space Extraction with it
Didn't actually buy these, received them as an early birthday gift. All I need now is Destroy All Monsters and Godzilla vs. Megalon (which both come out on DVD and blu-ray this October/November in the US!) to complete my Showa collection. Unfortunately until Godzilla 1985 and Godzilla vs. Biollante get a region 1 DVD release (which may never happen at this point due to licensing hell) I won't have the complete Godzilla series on DVD, though my VHS tapes fill in the gaps.

They do indeed! Today's purchase: DVD of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1. A dose of HP makes everything better, too. Preferably the books, but I enjoy the movies, too.
Apparently my Dead Space related shopping spree hasn't ended yet. Just caught myself ordering Dead Space Martyr and Dead Space Salvage. (Yes, a video game novel and a video game graphic novel. I'm that kind of nerd.)
