It helps that he was born looking old.
He has always been the most ageless Starfleet Captain.
Nice. Those are some cool covers. Hopefully they make posters out them.
Or either he looked really old for a long time
When we were reading Hamlet in my high school English class we also watched the play and who was in it but none other than Captain Picard from the new Star Trek show (this was in 1988). I got a kick out of seeing him like this.
Good lord, he's not half as cool with hair.
Makes him look like Simon Callow.
Closest I've seen Stewart to looking young was in I, Claudius.
He looked pretty badass in Excalibur too.
Nice to hear about the comic con panel. I had avoided this thread up until now and just assumed the new movie was with the more recent cast.
Does this mean that we will get a resolution to the credits teaser at the end of Last Stand?
Presumably Stewart's very appearance in DOFP...
Spoiler: DON'T READ THIS!
and The Wolverine
...constitutes just such a resolution. However, Stewart's public comments on the matter have been less than encouraging.
Wow, I've never seen him with so much hair.
That's a rug.
Patrick Stewart went bald at age 19.
"Stay thirsty, my friends."
Hairpiece aside, Stewart does the best Claudius.
And was great in I Claudius. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ADx7k3D-zc
New pic of Dinklage in his porn-star look:
They won't be able to do justice to the new cast if the originals have anything but cameos but I do hope they use this opportunity to show a super powered Rogue.
I still think there is life in the original franchise and maybe the return of the original cast plus the4 tone of the Wolverine means that might be a possibility of a stand alone sequel to X3. Personally I'd love to see two movies featuring the Marauders Massacre followed by Fall of the Mutants focusing on apocalypse and his Four Horsemen (or three horsemen - Angel really needs a scary horse to make this work).
Separate names with a comma.
