What's up with short guys being suggested for Worf? If you cast him as Worf, most of the cast would have to be under 165 cm to make him look bigger.

I'd think Ejiofor would be a better choice for Picard than La Forge. Or maybe he'd make an interesting Data.

Yeah as mentioned, Gillian Anderson in Beverley’s role would be great. She’s not as 1-dimensional as Gates and I think the CMO role would be just suited for her. Plus she's ten times better looking than Gates :)

Not sure about Data, but I think Ejiofor would do a great job as Geordi. Geordi had some key scenes in the series, and after seeing Ejiofor in Tsunami: The Aftermath I think he would be capable of reproducing some great Geordi moments.

I can also see James Woods doing a great version of Captain Jellico.

How about Brian White, then? Based on his appearances on The Shield, I think he'd be tall enough.

I think Ejiofor would be great as Picard, but I was aiming to keep Picard older than the rest of the cast. Ejiofor is of comparable age to most of the other people I chose. I do think Ejiofor could be a good La Forge; I'd particularly like to see Ejiofor as La Forge in an "The Arsenal of Freedom"-esque situation, slowly coming to trust himself and his ability to lead.

    Peter Stormare in my version.

More to the point, what would the plot be like??

Well it would probably involve the borg. And maybe Wesley Crusher Prime (played by Wil Wheaton obviously) saving the day

Ha. I am watching her right now on Season 9 of MI-5, and I had the same thought.

I would recast TNG with trained stage actors in their middle ages, relativly unknown to the public. You need to be, to deliver these higly stylized dialoge, since TNG is a period play set in the future. Since I dont know any, I really have trouble recasting it seriously.
