What's a myth (from any country's mythology) that you feel currently best relates to your own
life, either seriously or humorously and please say why, or one that best relates to modern
society at the moment in your view, if there's no myths that relate to your own life.

Odysseus. In the same way that James Joyce's Ulysses is set in one location. I feel I've been on one endless journey to somewhere important...

^^oh dear, AsboZaprudder, spring cleaning time?

^ EmoBorg, are you Gilgamesh or Enkidu? (small but vital difference as Enkidu got killed rather young while Gilgamesh sought immortality and died a very old man)

    As for myself:
Religious myth: St Francis, perhaps. No money, with very good friends, environmentally considerate, economically independent and all animals trust me.

Fictional myth: Highlander. The last 30 years (hmm, make that 50...) have been one long string of fights and life-or-death decisions. Not to mention that there are days where I definitely feel 5000 years old.... Still, imo there neeedn't be just one. Two is a rather nice number and a threesome might have its charms, too, depending on the participants :D

Zeus with the splitting headache right before Athena tumbled out. Except my Athena isn't arriving for another 7 months, and might not be a girl.
