^^ Congratulations! I just bought it. Which story is yours?

As for me, I'm still working my way through Draco's Tavern, Space Opera and Creepy Archives volume 12.

I was less than impressed by Blindness. Interesting premise, but I found the execution flawed. I dropped it halfway through.

I am now reading Old Man's War and enjoying it quite a bit.

I recently finished Ancillary Justice. The use of pronouns was less of a problem compared to the flashbacks. And that awful plan. And the recently revitalized captain. And the ship's favorite. But good book otherwise.

Okay, I've got it queued up in my Kindle app. I couldn't get to it last night, but I'll try to get to it today.

Nice story. Some alternate history with a cool twist on the superhero concept, and with a lot of potential for an expanded universe. I enjoyed it. :bolian:

My Tesla Doll and me are happy to announce we have finished listening to the 22 hour long biography of Tesla (Wizard: The Life and Times of Nikola Tesla by Marc Seifer). It was interesting though a little tedious at times especially when it came to describing Tesla's business dealings. Throughout this year I plan to read books by or about the people my other dolls represent.

^^ I've never read that one. How is it?

No problem. Good luck with future sales, and keep us informed, please. :)

Hey Miss Chicken, I think you'd probably be interested in The Forever Engine by Frank Chadwick, an alternate-history Steampunk in which Tesla is a main character. Fun story :)

A co-worker recommended "The Name of the Wind" to me. I'm about 100 pages in and really liking it so far.

I am listening to Elizabeth is Missing by Emma Healey, narrated by Anna Bentinck.

Maud is an elderly woman suffering from dementia. She is worried because she believes that her friend Elizabeth is missing. The novel also deals with the disappearance of Maud's sister almost 70 years before.

Thanks! I'm hoping to self publish another novel within the next month, certain it'll end up being advertised in my sig

I'd heard of this and am kinda interested in it, although it's a subject quite close to my heart as my mum has dementia so I worried it might be a bit sad.
