I really like DS9, but I'm really frakkin' sick of DS9 lovers going *whine* "Our series is so much better/smarter/more serialized than yours". *end whine*

It's still just dumb ol' Trek. Fuck you.

All i know (and yes that isn't much) is that when i want a little Trek Therapy an episode of VOY is so much more soothing than one of DS9. DS9 is great for a binge weekend but VOY is better for a little instant gratification. And no that isn't a bad thing.

All Hail Janeway, Patron Saint of those far from home

So in speaking against people talking down about other Trek series.... you think it's alright to talk down to them?

DS9 is wine talk when all you want sometimes is a big 'ol box. With a tap sticking fetchingly out the front.

So in a topic discussing the topic was Voyager Better?

People can't express the viewpoint as to why they think another Trek show was better?

Now if they were coming in here and saying Voyager sucks, you might have point. But they are fully entitlelled to come in here and say I think DSN was better than VOY (or any other ST show) because of X, Y and Z. Just as people who prefer VOY over other Tre shows can go into threads and say I dislike DSN because of X, Y and Z.

And I'd be wary of using language like the last sentance in your post.

    A hololemon party?

    Check your phone.

There's probably an app for less than 5 dollars.

My party will only have girls in it. No cups, no lemons, no goats.

More than one plump girl can fit on a floating desk.

I need warmer water. Strategic icecubes are fine but the possibility of immersion is a huge turn off. The desk rocks. With two people and movement it rocks more.

Just stick the desk over warmed custard and all will be well.

I apologise to anyone who might have been offended by this line. I appreciate it's probably the wrong thing to say on a Trek site :)

No, I mean you cannot put a price on lurok's apology. Though obviously that is hyperbole.

If I had to pay for this apology existing I would happily fork out 12 bucks. Because it made me laugh my ass off and that is always worth 12 bucks.

Lurok's apology may have value, but when isn't there a constant foreboding degree of derision cast against Star Trek digging it's way to china that any apology could find the light of day or any insult could make the bore drill harder?

It was his omission that had me cracking up. Star Trek was just the fall guy.
