What about all those starfleet ships Nero destroyed? Didn't they have starfleet crews?
Yes the ships possessed Starfleet crewmembers, however those crews were responding to what they believed to be a natural event (seismic activity), they went to Vulcan to provide aid and assist in evacuations.
They did not travel to Vulcan to defend it's people. Olsen died defending Vulcan after the situation was better understood.
Besides, the Andorians joined the federation decades before the events of the movie. You know, that whole "founding members" thing?
The first Romulan we know by name is Decius in Balance of Terror. Also the name of a Roman Emperor.
Spock is a Dutch name.
Nerys is Welsh
Dax is French
Odo was a French Pope
Maybe there's a way to work Patrick Stewart into the JJVerse, as a Romulan named Sejanus.
Stewart would make a fine Romulan.
no more Tuvok and neelixs jokes
also we will never get this.
Oh great, Mr T is going to play Tuvok in the reboot Voyager now.
NO! Tuvok will be played by Will Smith!!
Nah, it's be Rampage Jackson, the nuMr. T from that A-Team movie a few years ago
That is indeed a lovely scene. Voyager lacked more scenes like this that invoked a feel of family.
Voyager was the most family feeling of all the post-TOS Trek.
Him and the crews of seven other Starfleet vessels.
Have you never seen Star Trek before?
Awwww, Hell No!
So will Tuvok punch the alien and say, "Welcome to Vulcan"?
^"Welcome to New Vulcan."
You're all aware that there's been 25 comic books (an ongoing series.) and a couple novels set in the Abrams Universe which JJ is completely at liberty to ignore or deny?
Personally I'm wondering about the USS Defiant from the Tholian Web sent though to Mirror Archer?
