Don't hate me... just, you know, wondering if anything else was ever going to happen here. Vektor, anything?
^It has been over a year now, and it looks like the OP has moved on to other things, including in the Fan Art forum.
He's been on the Star Ship Polaris thread finishing that. Now Dennis is converting it for use in animation. Posted in that thread Tuesday, the 1st, so he's around.
I am slowly ramping back up to work on the Grandeur. Should have some updates to post in the fairly near future.
I come back after almost a year away and this thread is still going... it's still here... it's always been here... it predates my account by more than half a year. I'm sure I've said it before over the past 6 years but amazing work Vektor, amazing work!
This thread started 7 years ago. (and it's part 2 of an earlier thread!) A one year break in updates is nothing.
No kidding. I fully expect this thread to still be going for at least another decade. This ship will never be finished.
Whatever The updates are great. I used to have AutoCad and that was with the Windows 3.1 OS And that was 2D
Art is never completed, only abandoned. Luckily for us, Vektor does neither, so we get to enjoy his work in an ongoing basis.
^ Me, too! He's been my biggest inspiration to make Star Trek models, so I'll always look for the next update, no matter how long it takes.
I too love watching Vector work! (Jealously, of course. ) But I still get a giggle out of his original post, made nearly 7 years ago:
^what software do you use? There's a class of starship I always wanted to do 3-D, since I started designing it on paint back in 90s
