Other things are also contradicted by the trailer - such as the sirens having no mouths. So I wonder when this set visit took place.

But we'll just have to wait and see...

The sirens were only mentioned as being mouthless in the production art.

OK, I never saw Tron when it first came out or when it hit HBO "back in the day" as I was uninterested. All this chatter about Tron: Legacy piqued my interested and I was very impressed with the trailer. My 15-year old and I watched Tron last night, and for such dated FX and all, he was highly impressed and loved the movie. He was especially blown away by the trailer for Tron: Legacy, so it looks like we've added another movie to our queue to see this summer.

Tron, for some time, was I think the last of the great Disney live action films. When I was a kid I loved their live action far more than their animation. Movies like 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea and Swiss Family Robinson are what I grew up with. While I hated the sequels, I was duly impressed with Pirates Of The Caribbean as a return to form. Now, not only am I really looking forward to Tron Legacy, but The Sorcerer's Apprentice, as well. Hopefully a glory time of Disney live action is back!

See the original first on DVD, especially if you have a big-screen TV set!:techman:
