the core curriculum was derived
largely from materials compiled by
matronly old dowagers who believed
teaching couldn't be done differently
from when they were taught
due to its perfection. Then
they embarked upon a lengthy
explanation from a Vulcan that
described, in nauseating detail, how
teaching will constantly require new
and wildly different ways of
informing the next generation.
