Whoever designed the fail safes on the anti-matter containment should be shot.

Not to mention the shoddy design of the always-failing starboard power coupling.

Anytime L'waxana Troi gets sexual, at all is dialogue that should've ended up on the Cutting Room Floor.

Good call! Seven seemed to use this one constantly, I think Janeway gave at least one of those "Seriously" looks in response.

And auxiliary power. Why the hell did the backup systems always seem to fail at the same time that the primary systems went offline? Isn't the purpose of a secondary system to ensure that a ship keeps functioning even if several primary systems have failed?

Warp plasma coolant is another problem I've noticed a lot. Why is always leaking? Why can't Starfleet engineers design a better storage space for it?

L'waxana Troi in general should've ended up on the Cutting Room floor.

The "starboard power coupling" did get noticeable as time went on... and noticeable that the characters never seemed to notice how often that same damned power coupling was screwing them. Like, why not try taking some design tips from the port power coupling? That one seems to hold up relatively well...

I thought so too at first watch. The second time I watched, I noticed ha Quinto's yell sets up the next shot, in which Khan and Vengeance plummet past Enterprise on their way to the San Francisco crash sequence. It's actually very well done... we'd almost forgotten they were still out there.

Honestly, the major problem with the "KHHAAAN!" yell wasn't that it was Spock doing it... but that the whole character arc was unearned, since Kirk and Spck in the setting have known each other for barely more than a year. As a Clever Touch and piece of dramatic timing it's otherwise fine.

^I never had a problem with that line. Shelby was wrong to go around Riker to Picard. Every ship's chain of command differs slightly, but on the Enterprise, it was clear that any and all matters went to Riker before he took them to Picard himself. That Shelby refused to listen to Riker's earlier warning was her fault, not Riker's. He was completely justified in what he said and how he said it.

I know this wasn't actually meant for me, but I totally agree with this.

I agree with you that Riker was completely justified (and if they weren't in crisis mode - he should have had her cleaning bathrooms) but I just wish that the line had been cleverer or Riker's delivery less pompous. It makes me cringe but I understand how to others that might be their favourite line.

Once again, the T-shirt I designed sometime in the middle of TNG's run. Note the lower right corner:

Most likely true, but it still sounded and looked silly in the film. To me anyway:shrug:

From what we saw of Klingon politics during the K'mpec, Duras and Gorwon eras, it's not an unreasonable hypothesis.
