Kirk during the first V'ger attack, to which Scotty replies, "Systems overloading, Captain!"
And that's a winner!
Kirk in Star Trek II?
"Smooth as an Android's bottom. Eh, Data?"
Riker to Data in INSURRECTION?
"Too fast for you, old man."
The only thing I can think of that fits is Shinzon in NEM. While the cloaked Scimitar attacks and the Enterprise has little success he says "You're too slow, old man."
YEP! That's the one...I just got a couple of the words messed up. Good job!
"Nothing. As before."
Chekov in STAR TREK III? When he's scanning the vicinity of the Genesis Planet for signs of pursuing Federation ships?
Right film, wrong moment.
Would it happen to be from the scene where those merchants are waiting for Kruge's BOP to decloak?
Nope, it is a Chekov line.
Is this Chekov's line after Kirk asks if there has been any reply from Grissom?
Is it when Chekov tries hailing the Grissom to warn the ship of the Enterprise's approach...to avoid any confrontation between the two vessels?
That's the one!
I've got another one, but it's from a BOOK!
The line is:
"We are Borg, we are...V'ger..."
WT93, welcome and thanks for waking this thread back up. Now is probably a good time for a refresher on how the game works for you and anyone else who hasn't joined in before.
The person who correctly guesses the last quote provides the next quote to be guessed. So, for example, it is now cooleddie's (even though he and I guessed the same damn line ) turn to post a quote. If you guess it correctly, it is your turn to post a quote. The problem we'll run into if we have more than one quote going at a time is that the thread will get very confusing and will likely go off of the rails. Again, welcome and thanks for playing.
