Who did they beat out? I didn't watch the award show.
Reb Brown? Yes! MOVE MOVE MOVE.
According to Slash Film, and apparently confirmed through multiple sources, there will be a six minute prologue attached to IMAX prints of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol on December 16th.
The second theatrical trailer will still be attached to prints of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows in December. A similar situation occurred in 2007 when Warner Bros. attached a six minute prologue of The Dark Knight with IMAX prints of I Am Legend. The theatrical trailer was attached with the conventional, theatrical version of the film; the prologue was attached with the IMAX version.

Well, it appears that some of the movie takes place in the winter. Perhaps Batman will change in the climax to his Snow-Climate-Batsuit! It'll make great action figures.
As long as it doesn't look like that silver and blue monstrosity from Batman & Robin.
How else do you fight crime when it's icy out?!
That would be pretty sweet if we got the prologue in December...but why would Warner Bro release it attached to a Paramount film? It seems to me that it would be logical to keep it along with the "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows". Unless Warner Bros and Paramount have come to some kind of promotional agreement.
According to AMC Theaters, the six minute prologue for The Dark Knight Rises has been confirmed to appear in front of IMAX prints of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol on December 16th. The catch?
Which basically means if you want to watch the preview you have to attend a real IMAX theater and not a LIEMAX theater. Which means for some of you that might be a bit of a drive. In any event, I am extremely pumped for this. I am literally counting down the days to December 16th!
^ I'll wait for it to turn up on YouTube.
I'm going to see MI:GP but not paying the upcharge for IMAX.
I'll just wait another 3-5 days for it pop up online also.
Eh, I'll just watch the first six minutes with the rest of the movie.
I guess I'm just really nerdy.
We expect nothing less from you, JacksonArcher.
Seriously though, if it were a clip of The Avengers being shown, I would go the extra mile as well.
I'll be waiting for it to pop up on youtube. The IMAX theater is kind of far for me but this is definitely very cool.
Right. Movies are shot by location, not linearly. If you have a role that is only for a sequence of scenes or in a certain setting and those shots are later in the shooting schedule they don't have to be cast until it is time for that role to shoot.
Trump Tower is now "Wayne Enterprises"
Does this mean Bruce Wayne now calls himself 'The Bruce'?
I like how in that one picture with Bruce walking you can only make out "rises" from the "Wayne Enterprises" logo.
