Then everyone's running in place, it would seem. That's a little too depressing an interpretation for me--and I often like depressing literature, music, and film.

Good! I know there was some back-and-forth about Hulu. I'll watch it from both home and work connections, so two separate IPs are logged.

This article has a little bit about how much money Hulu and the content providers make.

The implication of the original movie was that there was no real organized resistance before Connor, just disparate bands trying to survive and the people in the camps. Connor was the one who showed them that it was possible to fight the machines and win, by organizing the people in the his internment camp and leading them in successful revolt. This feat gave him enough credibility to bring together the remaining humans into a single organized resistance. He wasn't a replaceable general. If he was then killing him would have served no purpose, someone would have replaced him He was the guy who started the entire thing, there wouldn't have been any human resistence without him, which is why Skynet would have been successful if it had killed him in the past.

But I'm not sure exactly how it works in T:SCC or any other iteration of the series. The timeline has changed so much already that it is impossible to be sure.

I have to agree with Tim M, as a series finale, this ep doesn't make the grade. Overall, very good and a good season ending show, if indeed, the show comes back.

If it doesn't, I guess we'll never know where this is going to go.

A pity, I was really, really starting to get into these last few eps.

So what was sent back in Cromartie's head? Was it just Cameron's chip (so, basically, Cameron and not John Henry), or was John Henry's software downloaded into the chip and Cam's uploaded into John Henry? The latter interpretation seems like the only one that makes sense, since according to weaver it's John Henry that must fight Skynet. Further, I can see Cam apologizing to John for leaving but not John Henry, who has no real feeling one way or the other towards Connor. Or perhaps there was some V'ger-like merging of the two entities before they jumped into the future.

And where did Weaver go in the resistance base?

Weaver sent John Henry to the future after he was reprogrammed and learned that human are sacred.

What John Henry will do with Cameron's chip we don't know

    1. Maybe implant it into future Skynet?

    2. Repair it? in a new Cameron body?

I think that Cameron was left in John Henries old Hard Drives. That she basically gave him her chip so that John Henry could get out of there.
It was nice to finally see why Weaver was doing what she was doing and it explains alot about her past actions...
But like other have said, as great of a "Season" finale it was...It was a Piss Poor Series Finale...But then again I dont believe it was EVER intended to be a series finale. It just left too many new questions open and actually started a whole fresh set of stories to fill another season next fall. Thats why Im going to vote right now that I dont believe that TSCC is Canned, and that I dont think it ever was going to be canned...

I thought this was great as a series finale! I almost don't want it to come back now. I've never been one for having every single dot connected, I like the "open" ending that we all know eventually leads to the first movie (and the one starting next month?).

    Fantastic.

I am sure that it wont happen but I would have loved for this to be the end of The Sarah Conner Chronicles and the beginning of The John Conner Chronicles.

^ I'm not 100% sure that they would use The John Connor Chronicles because it was the name of a novel series about five years ago that wasn't very good.

I think you're right on the money. It would also explain Sarah saying " I know, I love you to" at the end. She's talking to Cameron who was uploaded into the hard drives.

It would explain the repeated "I'm sorry, John."

I would guess that if the show gets renewed it will take place in both time lines so Sarah will still be in it.

John Henry would have been downloaded into Cameron's Chip most likely. Remember that John Henry was not in Cromartie's body, he was inside the Turk. Once it had the chip he could be downloaded into it.

It doesn't even make sense to evaluate it as a series finale because that's not what it was intended to be. That'd be like rating Farscape's Bad Timing as a series finale. It may not have had "to be continued" written on the screen this time around, but it was pretty clearly there.

As an aside, the eel being part of Weaver was great. Now we know why she so sharply told that guy last week not to tap on the glass :p

WOWOWOWOW this episode was great, and the ending was NOT expected, I really didn't think we'd ever be seeing anymore flat out time travel in this series, and certainly didn't think they would be going that far into the future, past judgement day, I was thoroughly impressed. However, like others have said, it was such a perfect season finale that the series will probably get cancelled and we will have NO resolution, which would suck. I hope it at least gets 1 more season so they can wrap it up after that cliffhanger.

So John Henry has been downloaded to Cam's chip. Cameron herself, must be in the Turk. Unless they can get another chip to download her into it doesn't look like we'll be seeing her soon.

I almost lost it when Cameron was sitting on John's bed and then said she wanted to show him her body. That's like my fantasy dream! Then she took off her shirt, and took off her bra! I would have lost it right there if I were in John's place. Heck yeah i would have made out with her, robot or not! I guess we CAN say that John has been inside her now hehe

I'm wondering if Cameron's chip is powerful enough to run John Henry at full capacity. Sure, the Turk was originally run on a modded X-Box, but John Henry required a rather huge server farm, so powerful that it produced enough waste heat to kill a person in short order.

I would think Cameron's program is way more sophisticated than John Henry's. The reason why John Henry's hardware was so massive is because our technology is primitive compared to Terminator computer technology, smaller faster chips with much greater memory storage etc..... Where it takes a server farm the size of a room to run John, he runs just fine on Terminator hardware with room to spare.

I don't think Cameron's program is as sophisticated as John Henry's. She was made for one purpose, to kill, and limited so that she wouldn't become too willful. John Henry was made to learn, with no such limits. He can play with Bionicle action figures. That alone makes him substantially more sophisticated than any Terminator. That he can also play Dungeons and Dragons, and is appropriately excited about rolling a natural 20, hints at a level of free will and imagination far greater than any Terminator is capible of.

Even if that is so, and his program is "bigger" I still think he would fit just fine on a Terminator chip, witih room to spare. It is my opinion that Terminator hardware is way more advanced than today's computer hardware.
