You know I was thinking about something recently:

In the show, at the moment, it could still be 2008. Terminator: Salvation takes place ten years later in 2018. The producers already said that many aspects - other than Judgment Day and Kate Connor - are being ignored in Salvation. What if the producers are setting it up that this could directly lead into Salvation. It'd be even more possible if the show really does end this year.

Yes I know it's a stretch, and most likely not possible, but just something I was musing over. Especially since the packaging of the Japanese version for Season One lists it as the storyline leading directly into Salvation.

It was posted in one of the discussion threads on TerminatorFiles by The Turk AKA Stentz shortly after I believe Complications aired. We do know from the visuals that Cameron and Rosie share a common chip design.

Also, we know that T-888 endoskeletons come in different sizes. Cromartie Vs. Carter in season one for example. Their structural points were not the same according to Cameron's scan (he was shorter).

Easy, to see if he could handle the mission to the past. I assume that Sephiroth may have assumed it to be meant to be about the basement because the producers said that the Basement will be resolved by the end of the season.

And I think the reason why the "brother" took control of John Henry at that particular moment was because it was when he made a leap to think for himself, to "cross against the light" as Weaver said. Perhaps "brother Skynet" has been monitoring John Henry for some time and only now perceived him to be a threat with this new level of self-awareness.

I'm still struggling to see how the (presumed) Zeiracorp henchmen tracking Sarah mesh with all this. Nonetheless, it is satisfying to see these loose plot threads being pulled together.

A shame to see Charlie die, though. I really liked his character.

I don't believe that the air conditioning company was related to Zeiracorp at all. At this point, I do believe that it's a Skynet front.

From what we've seen, Weaver doesn't use goons. She does her own dirty work and she does it well. Skynet, having no body, would need goons.

It could definitely go either way, as could Weaver's true intentions. I'll certainly be watching these final episodes!

^ I wish compiled code retaining comments even made sense.

What if it maybe even shorted the explosive, and now it won't detonate?

Maybe not goons, but she has a lot of humans working for her and doing her bidding. Walsh, Ellison, Murch, etc.

I think that those henchmen were actually working for Skynet, as they have been all along. Weaver cleaned out the factory earlier in the season because they were going to be a problem for her objective. Considering the guy who shot Sarah (who's name escapes me) planted a tracking device inside her, it leads me to believe that they were ACTUALLY trying to get John into a position where he would be easy to remove. In this case, Sarah taking John to Charley's lighthouse without the backup of Cameron and Derek provided the perfect opportunity. Especially since Sarah wasn't there either, as she was in the hospital/clinic.

Which makes her emphasis on the fact that John Henry heard them gabbing about coltan on an unsecured radio a masterful bit of misdirection.

That's my take on it as well. That also explains why Weaver went to town on the facility when John Henry told her about it... if she's acting in opposition to Skynet and that place was a Skynet front...

On the flip side, Weaver appears to have no qualms with killing humans when it suits her needs.

So when John Henry picked up the phone call, skynet was making HK's not Weaver, right?

It appears so. Remember that the henchmen were controlling that town with all of the cameras earlier this season, and the man who shot Sarah killed some of the people who lived there that had heard/learned too much.

How is it masterful? Weaver looks worried and says it was a mistake to JH. You'd think she might be thrilled if hunting Skynet was her objective, but she looked upset. Even if hunting Skynet was her objective, then what's stopping her? She's from the future, so she should know a thing or two about how Skynet develops, and if it's really a threat to her, she should be out there squashing it.

Not to mention why did she set up that automation of Seranno Point in "Automatic For the People", something which could clearly help Skynet a lot? If Weaver was looking to build a rival to Skynet, doing things that help both herself and Skynet seems foolish. If somehow it did make sense, then the development of aerial HKs at heat and air would probably benefit her as well. Her whole plan seems silly right now.

Unless her plane is to build the backup system to SkyNet so when Skynet does fall to human hands their is that backup avilable.

And her killing of everyone at the AC plant was to just cover up for what was going on there and she delt herself a blow in order to keep the program under wraps.

She doesn't necessarily know anything about Skynet's development. In the Pilot Cameron only knew the date of Judgment Day, she knew nothing else in relation to who developed Skynet.

Maybe there truly is a faction that wants peace or maybe she is, in some ways, helping the Resistance... We do know that Seranno Point is in Resistance hands in 2027.

And they did say that the town was set up like a Skynet Concentration Camp...

Unlikely, otherwise her program wouldn't be getting hacked by Skynet.

Don't you find that odd considering Uncle Bob's scenario? He had detailed files all about Dyson.

I realize it was done this way on the show to keep things a mystery, but for Cameron and Weaver to know so little of their own history that they're trying to change seems strange. And Weaver is apparently aware enough of Skynet's development that she knows Andy Goode and the Turk were at one point pivotal to it.

But it doesn't make sense to make it automated by AI then because it would be that much harder for the resistance to utilize. And it's been speculated that Weaver was the liquid metal on the Jimmy Carter, so she has shown she doesn't want to join the resistance. That it had any desires independent from Skynet is really strange anyways. Being some independent faction doesn't really make sense in so many ways.
