Read/comprehend. Tough choice nowadays...
I think Being Human is their only series that isn't "________ of the week", maybe that's the problem with B&C.
TrekBBS demotes V's thread back to "unfounded speculation" status.
It would seem not. Why let pesky facts get in the way of another excuse to excoriate SyFy and David Eick?
We've plenty of hearsay and conjecture. Those are kinds of evidence.
Is this guy taking the piss?
Given that that's a Lionel Hutz line, probably a bit.
Okay lets say that syfy dumps is back to being a webisode achieve? Why not just broadcast the fucking thing (giving some of the shit that passes as "syfy original movies" and gets broadcast Blood & Chrome really can't be any worse.
Only reason to make it back to a webisode is so they can bury it.
If Syfy wanted to bury it, they could just put it on a shelf and ignore it. Demoting back to web series would be so they could presumably still salvage something from it if they decide they don't have the faith in it to give it a broadcast slot.
why not broadcast it - can't be worse that some of the other stuff they've got under under the "syfy original movie banner".
perhaps they could even replace a few repeats of something.
Syfy original movies actually make money. BSG's been a money losing franchise for years.
guess there's no accounting for tastes....
So... if it became a web series... how do we as fans give it enough oomf to make SyFy see this should be made into a regular series? The word 'ratings' never really comes to mind, although do we replace that with 'number of views/downloads'?
syfy will probably find a way to ensure that few as people as possible watch it so details of it's release will be buried and anyone outside of the U.S will givet a message it's not viewable in their location.
I might not hurt Syfy's image much, but it could easily damage Galactica's.
nah, he's have to also be making pastry in a Quantum Kitchen too. That said, it doesn't surprise me as they also probably looked at the cost of promotion, etc and don't want to pony up the cash for anything.
If the SyFy Execs hate it, it's probably good. they don't have a good track record; as greenlighting and going whole hog promotion wise on that god-awful version of Flash Gordon staring Ming the Middle mangement goon demonstrated.
- With their Anime block gone, and Eureka cancelled after next season - it just means there's niothing I care to watch on yje failed SyFy channel.
Someone should change the title of this thread as it is blatantly untrue.
