For some reason its not up on Starwars.com.
s'okay I got mine on my nook.
darth reaven cover art is up at club jade.
Star Wars:Fate of the Jedi #8 Ascension
Star wars: The Force unleashed #2
both will be aviable on the nook this next month can't wait.
I have the force unleashed 2 in physical hardback great read can't wait for the third book or game to come out.
There won't be a third game; LucasArts fired the development team.
I think the second game didn't perform up to expectations.
Seems to happen quite a few times at Lucasarts. X-wing Alliance and Republic Commando both had unresolved endings, although the latter I think was sorted out in one of Karen Traviss's novels.
Which makes sense, given that the game was maybe half the length of the first.
I thought Karen Traviss went out of her way not to resolve the Republic Commando ending. Something may have happened in 501st that I'm not remembering, though.
well from my understanding with karen traviss's book was she did'nt like what they were doing with the mandaloreians in the clone wars. and it conflicted with what was going on in her books. deathwatch and all was not sopposed to be that big of an organization. and I think there was sopposed to be coming conflict with the empire and renegade clone troopers.
off topic I do like karen's take on the gears of war and halo books as well.
Choices of One was 6,5 out of 10 for me.
It would been much better without the Big 3.
That has absolutely nothing to do with what Whofan was referring to.
How can you like her "take" on Halo when it doesn't even exist yet?
from what she has written I have liked.
Yes, she's said that they couldn't reveal the fate of Sev:
I know that really sucks!!!!
I think the reason we didn't get an X-wing Alliance game was possibly because of the prequels, which came out roughly the same time and a good deal of Lucas's marketing centered on that, including games such as Racer, the TPM game etc. (Granted, there were some OT and post-ROTJ stuff still being released, such as the Rogue Squadron Nintendo series and Jedi Outcast/Jedi Academy)
timothy I too wonder how you can like Karen Traviss' Halo book when it's not even out yet.
Before the game even shipped it was rumoured that there would be no sequel. The new had honcho of Lucasarts apparently canned it and some or all of the team working on the game was set to be fired after the second game shipped. The writing seemed to have been well on the wall before a single copy sold.
As for X-Wing Alliance, I think it also suffered the same fate as the far superior Freespace 2, which came out the same year - the genre "died", along with the fact that the tie-ins with the prequels became the main focus.
She did have a short story in their recent anthology...
I dunno if that was what timothy was referring to though. That is the Evolutions anthology book you're referencing right?
