Could somebody tell me what the gun in this picture is?

The one that isn't the flurry.

I know it isn't the best quality image because for some reason i can't get the screenshots to work.

They have a rerun of all FEs at the moment, so you can get it again for a limited Time.

Not sure, but to me it looks like one of the Fleet Elite rifles. That guy is probably in a T4 Starbase fleet.

Running the PvE snow race for 7 characters for the past 25 days, I can now do it at full sprint all the way using just the mouse to turn.

Haven't run the races in a few days, but yeah even me with limited hand movement can win consistantly. I've even got 1st place on the PvP race on all my toons. There's something to be said for mindless repetition...

My problem with the race is that I get crazy lag in the middle of it, especially on my KDF character. Makes it very difficult to stay facing the right direction. I'm only doing it for two toons. Really tired of it, but only 6 more races to go, thank the lord!

I am considering running the race even after getting the ship and banking the photos for next winter, in case they get used again for something else. Then I wonder why I would want to punish myself this winter.

I just herd that when you hit T5 on the Romulan Reputation system you get 32,000 dilithium ore well after doing the cutscene anyway, well I know what's going to have me hitting the cap for four days after I hit T5.

I just received the rewards for reaching Omega Force T5 yesterday. Its only 9,000 dilithium, 1000 Omega Marks, 40,000 ec and some expertise. Basically, its enough rewards for you to get one of the Mk XII Omega Force/Maco/Adapted item set for free.

"free", or the tons of items and million or so EC you spent to buy them...

Well I was hoping the Omega Force would be more, but I was talking about the Romulan Rep system that sounds like you get more.

I'm trying to decide on the Omega tier 4 passive. Leaning towards the shields.

Same dilemma... I need more practical information on how good the placate and the crit powers are.
if they are underpowered they might get a buff eventually, if they are OP they will likely get a nerf at some point.
Really difficult to make an informed decision.

Well the shield has already been nerfed.

i usually trend towards the offensive powers. Shield might work great, but if it's really good, they'll kill it anyway. And all that said, at endgame you usually do just fine unless it's a swarm or a boss that's gonna 1-shot you no matter how many powers you have, so might as well get the offensive powers...

but I take casual PvP into account as well.
When you are getting focus fired, defense is essential.
So I am not sure if the shield heal is the life saver or the placate effective enough to do the job.
i know many people these days build around crits to kill, because standard damage doesn't cut it anymore.
And against someone who bypasses shields easily a placate is probably better.
So I am leaning in that direction, but not sure if it is complimentary to the rest of my build.
