^ The Peter Pan storyline was horrible and should have been two episodes at most. But peter Pan himself was the best thing the show has done in a long time.

That's fine by me, as long as the show is as crazy as the first season I don't mind at all. But I could see them changing their minds, I'm in favor of all in the row or a week or two off because of holidays.

I liked the Peter Pan story more than the Wicked Witch story.

I hated the running back and forth on Gilligan's Island for half the season.

It's been announced that Sleepy Hollow will have 18 episodes in its second season. The plan is to air them mostly uninterrupted.

18 episodes, that's a big jump, why not just go straight to 22?

They likely want enough space to run a 13-episode mid-season show in that timeslot after Sleepy Hollow airs.

Or maybe they only dare pack so much crazy into one season.
