Discussion in 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' started by Mr. Glum, Apr 24, 2013.
So you don't like people sharing their excitement about the prospect of getting their hands on the material being discussed?
Just received my copy in the post, and have to say this statement on the packaging surprises me:
CONTAINS BLEEPED STRONG LANGUAGE
Seriously??! I can't remember TNG using language so strong it required bleeping out?!
^It'd be for the extra features.
Ah OK that makes sense, I just had a vision of an episode or two sounding like South Park lol
I don't recall ever seeing a warning like that on any DVDs. Previous TNG-R releases have had bleeped language, but don't recall seeing that warning either.

Woo! Just ordered it. Total was $20 and change.
Picking mine up in-store this time. Can't wait. Season 4 is my favorite!!
What was the error?
I've noticed labeling in the UK seems to carry a lot more warnings of this nature than they do in the US or Canada. I doubt we'll see the same kind of warning on the packaging here.
At any rate, lucky you for getting it a day early!
I'm betting it's the cuss words in the blooper reels.
I've worked with Jonathan Frakes a few times and he drops the f-bombs like it's a regular part of the english language.
he's so damn funny. Really nice too.
WARNING: "Vanity Post" to follow, please skip if you find material of this nature objectionable. Thank you.
Just received a confirmation from Amazon estimating a delivery date of Thursday! Damn, wish I'd stumped up the extra dough for day and date now.
Not early, just surprisingly on time! Monday is new release day here.
Can we please have a separate thread for those who complain about there not being enough separate threads?
I'm sure this has been discussed already so forgive me for not reading the whole thread, but whereabouts are the 3 seconds of unconverted SD footage in BOBW2? I'm keeping my eye out for it as I watch.
Can we please have a thread for those who'd like to complain about complainers who complain about all the complaining.
Its one of the Battle Bridge scenes where Frakes says the line 'We'd like time to prepare our people for assimilation'.
Just watched that bit! If anything it's handy that part is there as it helps you appreciate the difference in image quality.
Well I'm watching season 4 as we speak and I always appreciate the picture quality in HD good god it's good I always think WOW when I see it !!! Can't wait to watch season 4 !!!
