Wow, looks like Ridley has recaptured the creepy haunted house vibe of the first movie almost perfectly.

Awesome. I can't wait to see the full trailer. I'm a huge Ridley Scott fan and I'm really looking forward to his return to the sci-fi genre. :D

    Dare I say it's...legendary?

(Sorry, couldn't resist the bad pun. Legend is actually one of the few Scott films I haven't seen yet.)

Sadly, I think Matchstick Men is the last movie of his I've actually seen and liked. I tried watching Kingdom of Heaven once, but it was so deadly dull I couldn't finish it. And I'm still curious to check out American Gangster one of these days.

But from the sound of it, everything else he's done has been kind of a dud.

Gladiator was great fun. Stupid but great fun.

He did do another couple of sci fi films that weren't duds.

Gladiator "stupid"? Taste's differ of course... But I consider it to be the best sword & sandal (i.e. non-fantasy) epic in the last couple of decades. Won a couple awards as well, y'know. ;)

Now if you would have called "Robin Hood" stupid, I'd buy it.

Speaking of "Legend"... I saw it last week for the first time. Weird film. Beautiful, but very odd.

I never thought I'd be so excited by the trailer for a trailer. This is one hell of a week for trailers, TDKR, Wrath of the Titans, Hobbit, and now this are all releasing or have released trailers this week.

I love Ridley Scott. That last photograph is so enticing.

If you guys thought I was bad in anticipation of X-Men, you have no idea.

Guy Pearce is oddly missing from that teaser trailer thingy. hopefully he shows up in the proper trailer. i've liked him since LA Confidential.

but yeah, Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender in the same movie is enough to get me excited. nevermind that its a Ridley Scott movie.

What part of "great fun" is negative? Just asking because every way I look at that expression, it's positive.

Has Noomi Rapace done any English language stuff before this and Game of Shadows? Just curious.

No, from what I've heard, she only recently learned English.

English would hardly be new to her. English is taught from 4th grade in Sweden. (I would know) But it may have been one of first English speaking parts.

Yeah, I don't doubt her fluency. She didn't even seem to have much an accent in the clips of her I've seen of her from A Game of Shadows. I was just asking out of pure curiosity.
