What did Prime Spock say after turning around and seeing Kirk get his medal? I've seen it twice and still can't make it out. Too back you can't have closed captions at the theater!

    Thanks.

Yeah I don't really get why he said it either. I guess it's just something he remembered Capt Kirk said a lot.

I think it was just a way to say something about knowing how this crew will have some full-on adventure ahead of them.

Yeh, it was one of those cheesy nonsense lines meant to evoke feelings along the lines of 'Is the word given Captain?' 'The word's given. Warp speed.'

It's a sex joke. Spock knew Kirk was still jealous about Uhura.

    :p;)

I think that line is going to have more meaning in the next film. I almost think that Spock Prime had a return plan.

That's going to be the big twist. This Nero nonsense was a ruse. It was all about Uhura.

It was Spock's way of acknowledging the start of the young crew's mission together/reliving the start of his mission with his Kirk and crew. It was hope and nostalgia mixed together. Spock wanted to ensure that his younger counterpart and young Kirk and the crew he knew would be on the job in this timeline as well... that's why he worked young Spock first, then went to witness Kirk's ascension to Captain.

"Thrusters on full..." was his way of acknowledgint that he'd gotten everyone together and that it was their turn now... their mission was underway.

I actually thought it was a reference to ST4.
In that film, McCoy insulted him by telling Kirk: "I don't know if you got the whole picture but he's not exactly working on all thrusters."

    As mentioned elsewhere:

It was actually Leonard Nimoy's line (he came up with it, and asked Abrams if he could say a line there when he was initially meant to be silent). Abrams mentions this on the DVD commentary, during the cave scene when Spock Prime meets Kirk. In the commentary it's revealed that he came up with the line while on set, and that it's "his blessing to the future of Star Trek."
