Those are two of the prettiest photos of a sunflower or butterfly that I've seen in a long time. Amazing! :techman:

Lovely photos! I feel like Julie Andrews should be spinning around, singing in the background.

We celebrated Kira's 3rd birthday today, since my wife Brother and Sister-in-law and their daughter were visiting.

We went out to brunch this morning, at this awesome place called The Brewster Inn. It sits right on the shore of Cazenovia Lake. We love this place and try to go often, especially with guests. It is simply beautiful, I could have stayed their all day.

For some reason, TrekBBS is being extra picky (this has never happened to me before) about which pics I can upload, so I had a hell of a time getting all these onto the board, but here are some pics of my trip to Baltimore:

    Inner Harbor

    Fort McHenry

And these pics of Camden Yards...

From Eutaw Street. (That building to the left is an old railroad warehouse that was saved, renovated and made into part of the ballpark.)

Nick Markakis (who was an Oriole for many years) returns to Camden Yards as a Brave. Right before this at-bat, he got a standing ovation:

And here's a couple more. This one was taken during the tour of the ballpark when I was standing on the warning track (right outside the O's dugout). Unfortunately they would not let our group walk on the grass itself. :sigh:

This one I took from inside the press box:

Also unfortunately: I neglected to take pictures of the hella awesome crab cakes that TZ and I had (which were not at the ballpark itself - TZ has refused all my attempts to talk her into going to a game there. Ironically, she has actually been to Baltimore's old Memorial Stadium, and I haven't! :wah: :wah: ). They were not so much crab CAKES as crab VOLCANOES. And sized appropriately. I ate two. :ouch:

    Next stop: Boston.

I posted pictures of Grace's bakery earlier, but it's really finished now! I added a bunch of mini treats and a tea cart. I also added a curtain for the window.

Everything is glued to the furniture or the floor except the chairs and tea cart.

I also made this last week- a "clock" shadow box, made with miniature chairs, table, and tea set.

I've had this tiny tea set for years, but never had a good place to display it.

    I :adore: the insect/flower photos!!

Been trying to do similar shots all summer.... but with a mid-range phonecam and a clip-on macro lens it's not easy :rommie:

I kinda like this shot though:

And this one isn't too bad either:

Mimic, wherever that is, I want to go there!

Kira's Mom, the bakery is adorable.

MLB, I especially like the shot from the top of Federal Hill.

    Some throwback Thursday time,

Here I am and look how pensive I was, wondering what I was contemplating. A boy, his boombox and a glass of water. Hey it was the 80's, think this is freshman year of high school.

I'm on the far right, at a really good friends halloween party. I'm dressed as Lestat from Interview with a Vampire.

^ In that first pic, you look exactly like Tim Teufel.

A Lestat and Anne Rice fan? My parents would have loved you, man. :techman:
