nice works dragon ---- can I ask for more?
Ruaidhri, congratulations! He's beautiful!
Congratulations! How wonderful!
Great cars B.J.
It inspired me to dig up the pics of my old Hot Dog and Coffin cars from my Pinewood Derby victories.
^ Nice! Exactly how old are those cars? The wheels lead me to believe they predate even my own time in Cub Scouts (early '80s).
It's pretty great that you still have those cars after all these years.
The Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom
They are from about 1973-74.
Back when I looked like this.
Awww! Talk about a Valentine's Day sweetheart!
Congrats, Squiggy. Your spawning has been carried out most efficiently and with great levels of cute factored into the equation.
At Hollywood Studios today and the boys got to meet BayMax and Hiro from Big Hero 6. They were beyond super excited.
That Baymax is awesome! Most meet-and-greet versions of characters are subject to some interpretation, but that's just about spot-on. Hope they're still there when I go back in June.
BayMax was awesome, had all the mannerisms and he even blinked. He couldn't do the fist bump, the boys wanted to fist bump him so badly but they settled for hugs.
The boys also got a photo with the elusive Tinker Bell this morning
^BAYMAX! I love it.
Great photo with Tinkerbell, too. Although, the younger boy seems somewhat less impressed.
Got to see the two most important people in all of the Magic Kingdom today, Queen Rlsa and Princess Anna.
Kira seeing Anna for the first time, she was in awe.
The gang and Anna
The gang and Elsa
Great photos! But I'll see your genuine Elsa and Anna and raise you a pair of money-grubbing Olafs.
^ Times Square is so much better now that they've closed it to vehicular traffic.
^^ cute kids!
A bit off-topic as it's neither Disney-ish nor carneval-ish but such a splendid example of Bavarian sense of humour that I won't withhold it from you:
last week a car smashed through the shop window of a local optician's. (luckily, nobody was injured) They nailed up the window and put a poster of the accident over it. The text translates as:
"Drive-in closed. Main entrance open for pedestrians"
^Somebody should start making tarps with images like that... they'd get very rich!
