Mustard isn't evil! It's very tasty, though not quite up to "gift from the gods" level.

And BBQ sauce? It's good enough on BBQ'd meat. But on anything else? Words can't describe how disgusting that sounds.

I spent ages yesterday watching this guy catch tiny flying bugs, in a swarm moving like gnats. He would leap up and grab them out of the sky with his front legs and then munch them up. Tried to catch it on video but didn't come out, bugs were just too small. But I did get this sweet picture.

Plus there are gazillions of different kinds of mustard so it's hard to make a blanket statement about it. I pretty much like all of them though.

Unless you spill mustard *ON* a blanket, then it's easy.

But even then MLB is it seedy mustard or staining bright yellow mustard or dijon which you could kind wipe in to some blankets and no one would notice?

I like dipping carrot sticks straight into dijon :D

Agreed. I like it on my fries. I have never liked ketchup because it is to sweet. Mustard is also quite awesome... except the fake bright yellow stuff. :bolian:

I'm Dutch, so I can't help but think of mayonnaise as a food group. ;)

If you have to add; BBQ sauce, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, or any other sauce to your cooked food to eat it, you need help cooking it right in the first place.

Oh come now that's not true, and ultimately it's all subjective.

I do suggest to the people pouring ketchup and BBQ sauce on steak that if you ever have a really excellent quality steak try it without. Crap steak probably needs a sauce.

You know what's nice on steak, a bit of butter (real butter) and some cracked pepper.

I like my steak super rare these days, it's funny to think I used to eat them well done.

Eh. I never ate a mustard that didn't make me violently ill.

Plain yellow mustard is my favorite. Mustard just has to be simple (and preferably combined with another sandwich or burger condiment) to meet the needs of my palate. It also goes great when mixed with chili, the chunkier and meatier the better.

    Mayonnaise is Nature's Perfect Food.

Without it the entire tuna industry would collapse.

Tuna, macaroni salad and potato salad.

99% of the reason for mayo to exist in the first place.

Nope. That would be chicken. Not only does it go great with mayo but without chicken, mayo would be near impossible.

My brand new 32" Hisense LED TV (it was a late Christmas present). I broke it in with Galaxy Quest, now I'm onto the classics: :D

Why am I posting this? I'm really proud of it. It replaced a 6 year old 19" LCD TV that seems stone age by comparison! :D
