A rainbow just now over the turrets of Exeter Cathedral as seen from my daughter's bedroom window.
That's a great shot, macloudt. Nice composition.
That baby is hilarious, hilarious, hilarious and adorable! And smiley
I really need to visit this thread more regularly ... it's tough to keep up with all of the great photos!
Squiggy, what an adorable daughter you have! Congratulations again, and thanks for sharing with us!
Great shots, macloudt! Love the bridge, and what a great capture with the rainbow. I'm hoping you found a large pot of gold at the end of it!
Beautiful sunsets, Saga! And very sharp bird captures, Gaseous Anomaly!
tsq, thanks for sharing your photos of yourself with us! I know they always somehow make me smile!
RoJoHen, great shot of you and kitty. Very dramatic, indeed!
Adding a +1 to everything Ancient Mariner said!
Wonderful photos everyone!
Ancient Mariner went on a little photo shoot around town today and this is one of the last shots I took but I really like it.
That shot came out really well, SD! Love the sharpness and contrast. That's from the Fulton Street area, right? Nicely done!
Now I'm really going to have to get to processing my photos.
I'ts a daunting task. I shot 465 today. Just imagine if my battery hadn't died!
This was taken with a crappy flip phone, but it turned out ok. This is what Hubby and I did this weekend:
Sweet! I'd love to have my photo taken sitting on the Iron Throne.
Very cool photo, Shanndee!
I took 620.
Hubby was really looking forward to it as well. When the Star Trek exhibit came through here you had to buy your photos. We thought this would be the same so we didn't bring a camera. I'm so glad this turned out as well as it did!
SD, I took this after I got off the subway at Grand Central:
Wow, that's a cool shot. I've never been to Grand Central Station even though I've been to New York City.
I like the B&W. It adds a certain amount of mysticism.
Grand Central Station is really cool, I go there all the time when I visit NYC. I love to hang out in the great hall and just watch people go by. Plus I like to stay at the Grand Hyatt, which is actually inside the station (and is MUCH better than staying in any hotel in Times Square, for reasons I hope are apparent ).
Great Shot AM!
Got an urge for a long walk taking pictures today…
We decided to do a little Staycation. We ventured up to Old Forge NY, the largest waterpark in the state of NY is here, Water Safari. Of course we made the reservations almost two months ago, when it was hot. Well now it's kinda cold, the high was 71 degrees today. The water was COLD! The forecasted high temperature for tomorrow is 65 degrees. Yikes, the place is awesome but will definitely need to do earlier in summer next time.
Here are two pics from the deck of our room.
That's why I carry an extra battery with me, never know when you'll need it.
By the way, nice shots everyone.
I actually have a battery grip on my camera which holds two batteries but I neglected to make sure they were both fully charged when I left.
