I made these sweet little pendants tonight:

I found the domes on Etsy, and just glued the little bottlebrush trees and a deer to the bases, and added some snowy glitter.

^They sure are! -But are they ear-ring size or tree-ornament size? -I can't really see from the image!

They're for necklaces- too heavy for earrings. The taller dome is almost two inches high.

^That size makes me want to hang them from a tree :rommie:

But I can see them work as seasonal jewelry as well...

Homemade pizza. Unfortunately, the pepperoni was turkey pepperoni, but it was still good.

Asian-style fried rice with ground beef, winter-style vegetables, flavored with soy sauce and mango chutney.

This is one of those drink machines that can dispense about a hundred different varieties of soft drink. :bolian::cool:

Those were great pics, but I gained four pounds just looking at them.

Post-Thanksgiving food baby. For those unaware, my stomach is normally flat.

Started decorating the house for Christmas, since our daughter goes back to college tomorrow.

First up, our lawyer's bookcase, which turns into a bizarre amalgam of Star Trek ornaments (nothing says "Christmas" like 7 of 9 and a Klingon Bird of Prey!) and my Rams paraphernalia.

Second I went to Raleys on Wednesday, and was afraid to close my eyes or turn my back....

This time of year, you're worried about that?

What happened? Tried for Fanta Orange, you got Coke with Lime? :borg:

My mother is on town so we visited Times Square today and she snapped this picture of my daughter and I.

I wonder how difficult it would be to add alcoholic options to a machine like that. . . .

^ I don't know if they look like that, but I understand that, in Japan, you can buy alcohol from vending machines on the street. :cardie:

A friend and I went to the zoo a few weeks ago. Our new mutual friend:

About 10 minutes into this there's a brilliant vending machine bar as found in Japan...

You really think so? -I think it's a nice difference from here, where drunks gather outside convenience stores...
