Nice. :) It's never too early to introduce a child to the wonders and fun of classic television. That's inspiring.

This is her first time watching. She's going to love the grape stomping and the candy factory episodes so much. I can't wait. :)

That's so great you're introducing her to "I Love Lucy". :techman: This is the best time. Getting up to 7-8 years old, kids start to get pulled in by the high tech cartoons and all this vintage stuff begins to look really old in comparison--hard to get them to give it a try. But if you get them exposed early, they can appreciate it.

I Love Lucy can be a good choice for kids, but her later "Lucy Show" from the 60s creeped me out when I was little.

Don't show a kid My Mother the Car.

Or an adult for that matter.

In fact, let's all pretend it never even existed and never mention it again.

Sometimes you have to stare the dragon in the teeth in order to slay it.

I apologize for nothing. Why should I? Jerry Van Dyke never did.

^ Why should Jerry Van Dyke ever have to apologize for anything? Dude's the man.

Was your wife a schoolteacher or a child development major? Those pictures of yours looks like you guys are raising her in a very child-centric home, with bright paint, activities like those beads and colorful toys.

    That picture's cool

My wife was indeed a teacher, and yes, our house is very child-centric. I'm always impressed with the creative stuff my wife comes up with for my daughter.

Indeed. That kid is having experiences many of her first classmates would not have experienced until school.

    Sorry. Teacher/graduate student talk

Adorable! I miss the feeling of how fun and exciting art is when you're a little kid. Seeing them smile so brightly while doing things like this is heartwarming.

That sounds a little strange. Why did it creep you out?
