Minor damage, deck 6!
They should have had Benedict Cumberbatch light the Olympic flame last night.
^ Yes! With that salute to British literary characters you would think that a montage of the various imaginings of Sherlock Holmes would have been appropriate! The general public could be enjoying Sherlock and we could be excited about the new Star Trek baddie!
...I heard that Patrick Stewart was a torch bearer at some point. Was it a few days ago (or did it even happen)? Are there photos somewhere?...
Here you go!: http://trekmovie.com/2012/07/23/patrick-stewart-carries-olympic-torch-for-london-games/
Gah, Cumberbatch WAS there! That's what I get for missing the start! http://trekmovie.com/2012/07/27/watch-benedict-cumberbatch-opens-bbcs-olympic-coverage/
Thank you KingDaniei! You rule! :-)
Happy to help!
T-minus -290 days and counting...
Gah! I can't get the sound to play. Thanks for sharing.
...and just because I'm happy and in a good mood I think I'll follow the beagle's lead...
^Imagining dancing Porthos now.
11 days since 300, already? We must be traveling at Warp 2, at least.
Only 11 days since 300, more like 1/4 impluse.
Trust me, in -288 it will seem like it's passed at warp 10, and we'll all wonder why we haven't turned into salamanders.
My Warp 2 is only as fast as the next fan's 1/4 Impulse. D:
Wow the 80's.. that was some fine music.
Yeah, in hind sight I kind of miss some of the 80's music.
I remember talking with my friends while at a high school dance in the 80's...we were so convinced that this music would just be forgotten. My friend said "We have 60's theme dances, even the occasional 50's theme...no one will ever have an 80's dance theme"
My, how wrong we were!
Anyway, welcome to the 80's everyone! Cheers!
LOL Shandee that's like how I told everyone, "Cyndi Lauper is the REAL talent, she will be the one still drawing crowds in years to come when Madonna is long gone."
Glad to be here, thank you Shanndee!
