Kirk decided that he'd randomly select a
crew member - someone who always managed to
get in trouble and exhibit questionable behavior
every time there was a shipboard function.
Down on the lower decks there were
several such candidates to choose from. Kirk
knew of several ensigns and crewmen who
had been placed on report more times
than he could freely remember without having
to look it up - or ask Spock -
for their service records. Kirk was not
above assigning them all the distasteful task
of cleaning up in Waste Recycling for
