officers would make things aboard the ship
run far smoother. She lobbied hard for
a few more women of her rank
to be brought aboard.

Kirk stood, dumbfounded. Spock
was used to Uhura's tendencies to make
suggestions that might disregard normal protocol but
were actually quite logical in retrospect. He
