resembled that of a blind, stoned Tholian
with twelve legs and a spiky little
fingers that couldn't hold a pen if
they tried. Real Tholians could hold several
Nasat eggs, which they enjoyed juggling, but
if too many of them broke then
there would be a serious amount of
legal trouble, perhaps enough to bring down
the entire Tholian Assembly and cause untold
damage to the fabric of space/time.
Space-time had already seen a great
many rips and tears recently, like when
the Enterprise NX-01 emerged from
the spare bathroom, bleary-eyed and pale,
and wondered where it was. Jonathan Archer
was currently of little use; his beagle
was trapped in the Tholian Interphase, and
first officer Subcommander T'Pol was quite annoyed
at all her failed attempts to rescue
the imperiled pooch from his precarious predicatment.
