So far the only thing I don't like is Megan Fox, and not only because she looks like a plastic doll.
Yeah, it sort of works. I'm pretty sure the window tint/decal would violate several local ordinances in NYC, but... The van is sort of neat looking.
That's the best thing I like about the movie so far. It looks pretty sweet. But.. how are they going to fit in that? With all the bulk they have, it looks a bit small for them, but then the pictures might be giving us a wrong sense of scale.
If you look at the second picture you can see a pair of legs underneath the van. Based on that, the van appears to be large enough for the "giant" Turtles that are appearing in this film.
Oh, I guess you're right. It just looks way smaller than it probably is.
I like the van. One thing I was wondering the other day - how do you think it would be if they cast actual martial artists as the turtles?
I would imagine the people who are standing in for the Turtles on set in the motion-capture gear probably do know martial arts.
First look at Michelangelo...
...'s tie-in costume.
Seriously though, it does give us some idea at what the final design will be, especially the face.
I don't mind the face too much, but the turtles wearing pants? Weird.
They'll make Donald Duck wear pants, next.
Does he appear to have a nose because it's just part of the costume? Or is that really how the Turtles' faces will look I wonder.
I've seen some of the concept art for the Turtles and I don't really care for the design. But I'll wait for a trailer before I actually judge the movie, though too be honest it needs to blow me away for me to have any kind of interest in this movie.
That is not how the internet works. Play by the non-rules!!!
Decide now, your judgement now!!!
I'm actually ok with the clothes and bothered a bit by the face.
I don't care for the lips and chin.
new images that look more legitimate
Those actually look pretty cool. The way the heads and bodies are shaped is giving off an "old-school-1990s-animatronic-slash-makeup-slash-Warriors Of Virtue" vibe. Which I like.
I'm sure they'll be all CGI in the finished movie, but still.
Meh, I still don't like them. Personal bias, but I prefer them not looking like a 14 year-old's idea of "Fuckin' badass!" I always kind of liked that the Turtles looked friendly (as much as a 5-foot turtle can) but could kick the living shit out of you.
Just a hater hating.
giving them nostrils is an odd choice. but i think the overall design is solid.
I'm not understanding the sunglasses motif they are going with at all.
Maybe in context of the film?
This looks like it was taken at a Retailer booth, probably same time/event as that horrid Halloween costume from last week.
