I love opening up this thread and soaking in a few chuckles.
is that for real or is it shopped?
It looks a little Photoshop-y.
What? -it looks perfectly legit.
Besides, what's the idea of using PS to make a photo like that? -would be easier to use paper and a speed-marker!
It might very well be. Because of the sharpness of the sign and text, it's hard to tell if that's where the focus was, or if it's been added.
It's clearly a cropped picture, which makes it tougher.
There are some (whataretheycalled) digital artifacts on the placard part of the image -but those are also present in the rest of the image. The writing, however, looks very much like how you'd write that big letteringh with a big ol' handheld.
Besides, the very top of the placard with the shadows and stickers? tape? really makes me believe this is a photography of that placard; too messy to be a 'shop -a 'shopper might have cleaned out the mess or added more elsewhere.
But of course, anything could be - It's a rather small image with skewed contrast and it's been compressed to within an inch of death…
Fire's your answer to everything.
I'm fairly sure the original photo, colour and uncropped has been posted here before...
dim hazy memory...
Go the extra mile and you'll find the poster boy knew exactly what he was doing.
I too remember having seen it before, and that it looked 'different', but I'm not sure I've ever seen it in colour.
^That is absolutely amazing. Good job.
It made the rounds of the blogs back in the day.
YES THANK YOU STILL LOOKS PHOTOSHOP-Y
Yeah, I like those, especially the variations of well-known memes:

^ It's the "I must levy a fee" that makes that one great.
