Got lucky last night, eh?
I used to have that. The year is said to be something like 2218 or something, apparently so that Khan's "two hundred years ago" could still be consistent with the movies taking place in the 23rd century (and, of course, making it completely inconsistent with the date on Kirk's Romulan ale).
If Romulans printed Federation dates on their bottles.
I distinctly remember a scene in STIII where Kirk says something to the effect of, "I just wanted one last look..." before he and the rest leave the bridge of the doomed Enterprise. The scene is on the comic adaptation, but not on the DVDs or Netflix version.
That was never in the movie. The music lines up precisely with what's in the movie.
I know; I was actually trying to prove Sran's point that I quoted.
I've had the same argument with a friend who claims she saw the little Vulcan girl "Live long and prosper" scene on opening night.
