Doubt that it will be Zach Levi. He's the new Fandrall in the Thor sequel.
And I highly doubt they'll cast Joe Flanigan in anything other than maybe a bit role.
Darn, no road trip to Vegas.
hope Adam Warlock does show up. the guy doesn't get enough respect IMO.
(Posting this in both Avengers 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy threads)
Thanos creator Jim Starlin reveals that Thanos will be in "Guardians" and "Avengers 2".
Kevin Feige says that Guardians will be "team-based" right from the start.
Also-- Scott Porter wants to play Nova.
I have to admit that I'll be annoyed if they cast Quasar based on Phyla-Vell rather than Wendell Vaughn, but I'm guessing they will.
x2, right down to the guesswork. Pfft.
Will members of the original Guardians team appear in the movie? It seems that James Gunn is reading through the Jim Valentino written series from the 90's.
That would be nice, but it would be nicer to have a movie based on the story of the original Guardians.
I've been reading *about* those comics though I haven't actually read them but if they go with the deal with Vance Astro finding Cap's shield it might make for an interesting way to tie in with the Avengerverse or whatever they're calling it.
I've been saying that as well. Vance Astro makes the tie-in/crossover for the audience a bit easier...in theory anyway.
Will the Chitauri appear in GotG?
Not to surprised if this is true. Like they say in article they came from Thanos in The Avengers, and Thanos is in GotG.
Lee Pace and Jack Huston are both terrific actors, would love to see them in something. But of this whole list, Mardsen is the one who seems primed for a "team leader" role that is more substantial than what he was allowed in X-Men.
Lee Pace is the guy from Pushing Daisies, right? He'd make a pretty good Starlord.
Yup, he was Ned the Pie Man.
Come to think of it - he might be good for Warlock! He's tall and does weird well.
Marsden it would seem is the name with the most marquee value AND genre cred. Having, as mentioned, X-Men under his belt AND supporting role in Superman Returns.
That's a pretty good list, although Eddie Redmayne seems a bit young, maybe. It hink I'd most like to see Lee Pace in the role, he was very good in Pushing Daisies and The Fall.
Yeah, of those actors Pace is my favorite, so I'd have to go with him.
EDIT: Aaaaand apparently James Gunn is a total asshole.
I don't know. The Warlock I remember looked like somebody from a Charles Atlas ad.
Separate names with a comma.
